Our priority is “clients satisfaction” as much as possible . We love Bali and Java (and especially volcanoes) so we want you love them too.
-
Bromo: The climb is not physically challenging. After an easy hike of about 10 to 15 minutes, you will only need to climb up 250 steps to reach the top of the crater.
-
Kawah Ijen: The first part of the climb requires a moderate to intensive effort for an hour. However, it is a climb that most people can conquer. We have had clients ranging from 5 to 77 years old that have all been able to complete it. After this first part, the rest of the hike (20 minutes) is low intensity.
-
Batur: It will take 2-2:30 hours to climb to the top. The required effort level is low.
-
Agung: The climb is challenging; you will have to provide a significant and relatively long effort (3 to 5 hours). Your guide will help you along the way to the top in order to guarantee your safety. This level of difficulty of this climb is advanced to expert.
-
The weather is unpredictable at high altitudes. Each individual is sure to feel the cold to some degree at the base camps and at the top of the volcanoes. It is recommended that you bring your own warm clothes, but we will also be able to provide you with warm jackets, hats, gloves and rainwear upon request.
-
The “3 days in Java” tour starts in Bali. However, you may join the group on day 1 from Probolinggo (Java, train and bus station) or from Bromo (Java). We can also organize your transfer with a private driver from Yogyakarta, Malang or Surabaya. After the hike of the Kawah Ijen, we can drop you off at Banyuwangi (East Java) or bring you back to Bali.
-
24 hours at Kawah IjenYou can join the tour from Banyuwangi (East Java). We can pick you up at your hotel or meet you in front of the ferry terminal (between Bali and Java). We can drop you off there after the hike or bring you back to Bali.
-
Group tours are made up of a minimum of 3 individuals and a maximum of 10-12 individuals.
-
Regardless of the group’s size, we will adapt the vehicle to the number of participants in order to ensure a comfortable trip.
-
The larger group may be broken down into smaller groups during the hike.
-
Children are welcome, but, ultimately, the guides will decide if it is feasible for them to complete the hike, on the basis of several factors.
At Kawah Ijen, children are allowed to climb to the top of the crater but will not be able to descend inside the crater if they are less than 10 years old. (except agreement by the Guides)
At Bromo, there are no restrictions. However, once at the top of Bromo, children must ALWAYS hold their parents’ hand.
-
The food we will consume on the tours will be traditional Javanese food, and will be both healthy and tasty.
We don’t add any spice to the food, but you may add some if you wish. We can provide you with vegetarian options if you indicate this preference during the booking procedure.
