This meticulous organization guarantees a safe and comfortable journey, so that you can fully enjoy every moment of your expedition.
Day 2 - Tumpak Sewu waterfalls, then transfer to Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.
At sunrise, we embark on a morning exploration of the majestic Tumpak Sewu waterfalls, accompanied by our local guide. In the glow of the first rays of sunlight, we discover the natural beauty and visual splendor of this exceptional place.
After breakfast, we drive to Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, at an altitude of over 2,300m (approx. 4hrs drive). We will have dinner and spend the night in a simple but clean high-altitude guesthouse. Night at GOOD KARMA Bromo. A restful and refreshing stopover after an exciting day.
Day 3 - Volcano Bromo then transfer to Kawah Ijen.
To reach the volcano and admire the sunrise, a 3:30 a.m. departure is necessary. In a 4x4 jeep, we reach the volcano's caldera observation platform, offering a magnificent view of the sunrise over the volcanoes of Batok, Semeru and Bromo.
Then, at the foot of Bromo, after crossing the "sea of sand", we walk along the Hindu temples dedicated to Brama up 250 steps. We will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the crater rim, listening to the "rumbling" of the earth as we watch the thick smoke rising from the crater.
After this unforgettable Bromo experience, we'll take the road to the Kawah Ijen volcano, passing through a variety of plantations. For lunch and dinner, we will have the opportunity to sample a variety of local dishes. We will rest in a simple but clean hotel, to be fully refreshed before the next stage of our adventure.
Day 4 - Kawah Ijen volcano, then Bali's final destination
At 1:00 am, we leave the hotel to reach the Kawah Ijen base camp in 1 hour. After receiving professional instructions and the necessary equipment (flashlight, respirator and warm clothing if required), we begin our ascent at around 2:00 am, accompanied by experienced guides. It takes around 1h30 to reach the highest point of the hike: the summit of the Kawah Ijen crater.
Weather and volcanic conditions permitting, with the guides' assistance, we descend into the crater of the active volcano to admire the famous "blue flames". The sight of the active volcano's turquoise lake, combined with the blue flames and colors of the sunrise over the mountainous landscape, will create unforgettable memories for all participants.
After a few hours, we return to base camp, where an authentic Javanese family will serve us a traditional breakfast to replenish our strength. Our adventure continues by ferry to Banyuwangi (Java port), then to Gillimanuk (Bali port), following the northern route via Pemuteran, Munduk, Ubud to Seminyak (South Bali).
